When I'm not immersed in design or visuals, I am busy with other creative endeavours.

I grew up spending a lot of time in my family's village, where I learned the values of sustainable farming and traditional cooking from my grandparents. These experiences have shaped my approach to life and design where meaning and community are important aspects that I look for in everything I do.

I find joy in performing and teaching Dabke, a Middle Eastern dance that has a deep cultural significance for me. This dance is not just a form of art but a powerful outlet that helps me break through creative blocks and connect with my roots.

I believe in the fun of craftsmanship. I did some hands-on design work for the renovation project of our home in Rotterdam. My partner and I found the right outlet to reflect our shared vision and creativity so I often find myself engaged in activities like cutting gypsum boards, drilling wood panels, and designing furniture items.
